Study at the Department of Music is centred on individual (one-to-one) tuition. Individual lessons are consequently linked to group learning in other subjects – theory of music, chamber music, ensemble playing and choral singing.

Length of Study:

Preparatory Year	1 year for pupils from 6 - 8 years of age
Level I	7 years for pupils from 8 - 15 years of age
Level II	4 years for pupils from 14 years of age
